Organic foods are know to improve your immune system through better nutrients, gives you more energy, lose weight more easily, and improve your blood circulation. Organic food usually boast intense, realistic flavors, and have a higher mineral content and vitamins.
And though logically it makes sense to consume a diet based on organic foods, it does cost more. With good planning and preparation, going organic can be affordable.
The benefit comes from knowing that your loved ones are not taking in the harmful pesticides and chemical that are usually found on non-organic food.
Some time back, I scraped the skin of an apple after leaning that wax were applied on apples and pears to protect it from pest.
True enough, a streak of white substance curled up from the edge of the kitchen knife. Applying a little heat on the knife makes the white substance melt and drip off at the knife point.
So what really is Organic Food?
“Organic food is food that is free from all genetically modified organisms, produced without artificial pesticides and fertilizers and derived from an animal reared without the routine use of antibiotics, growth promoters or other drugs.”
Years ago, it was only available in farmers’ markets, organic foods are becoming much more widely available nowadays.
